ଜାଲ ନୋଟ୍ ଦେଇ ଦୋକାନୀଙ୍କୁ ଠକିଲେ ମହିଳା। ବ୍ୟାଗରୁ ବାହାରିଲା ମାଳ ମାଳ ୫୦୦ ଟଙ୍କିଆ, ୨୦୦ ଟଙ୍କିଆ ଓ ଶହେ ଟଙ୍କିଆ ଜାଲ୍ ନୋଟ୍। ମୀରା ଶାହ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ମହିଳା ପୁରୀରେ ଏଭଳି କାଣ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପୁରୀ ମାଟିଆ ପଡ଼ାର ଅରୁଣ କୁମାର ସାହୁ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଦୋକାନୀଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଆଇସକ୍ରିମ୍ କିଣିଥିଲେ ଉକ୍ତ ମହିଳା। ତେବେ ୪୦ ଟଙ୍କାର ଆଇସକ୍ରିମ୍ ଖାଇ ୨୦୦ ଟଙ୍କାର ନୋଟ ବଢ଼ାଇଥିଲେ। ବାକି ୧୬୦ ଟଙ୍କା ଫେରାଇଥିଲେ ଦୋକାନୀ। ପରେ ସନ୍ଦେହ ହେବାରୁ ମହିଳାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଥିଲେ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକ।

A woman named Meera Shah was caught trying to cheat a shopkeeper in Puri using fake currency notes. While buying ice cream from Arun Kumar Sahu in Matia Pada, she paid with ₹500, ₹200, and ₹100 fake notes. After consuming a ₹40 ice cream, she tried to pass a ₹200 note, returning ₹160 in change from the shopkeeper. Locals grew suspicious and apprehended her on the spot.
