ଗାଁ ଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ଜଗିଥିଲା ଭୂତ ! ଜୀବନ ନେଉଥିଲା ଭୂତ ବରଗଛ ! ଅକାଳରେ ଦୁଇ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହେଲା । ବରଗଛରେ ଭୂତ ଥିବା ସନ୍ଦେହ ବଢ଼ିଲା । ଆଉ ଗୁଣିଆ ଆସି କହିଲା, ଗାଁରୁ ଗଛ କାଟି ଫିଙ୍ଗି ଦେବାକୁ । ଏପରି ଏକ ଘଟଣା କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସୁବାଇ ଗାଁରୁ ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଛି ।
A bizarre episode of blind belief has surfaced from Subai village in Koraput district, Odisha. Villagers claimed that a banyan tree was haunted and responsible for two sudden deaths. Fear and rumours gripped the area, with locals guarding the village at night to protect themselves from the so-called spirit. A witch doctor reportedly advised cutting down and throwing away the “possessed” tree.
